'REAL' EXHIBITIONS We will be sourcing exhibitions to be held in Libraries, Cafe's, Restaurants and Galleries in locations across Australia and from time to time we will ask you to submit your photos for these exhibitions. They will be held in many locations and if your photos are selected for the exhibition you will be 'hung'. Your name and the name of the photograph will be displayed with the print, as well as a price for the sale of the photograph. HOW EXCITING!!
The "Ezi Pix Image Shop" will have two main choices. This makes everything ezi for our customers wanting to purchase your images.
DOWNLOADABLE IMAGES WITH COPYRIGHT We aim to be the best budget priced stock image supplier as we use both professional and amateur photographers (our Gold Members). We are building a GIANT collection of stunning images for our customers to choose from. (I have complete faith in you). We will be focusing on an ‘Australian Flavour’, as this is one of the most sought after image styles in the world and is not as available as you might think. All images will be accepted but we will be promoting our site to have a truly Aussie Flavour for the world to see.
We charge our client $250 which we believe is the best price anywhere as this includes high resolution image downloadable and Ezi Pix reserves the right to change this price from time to time. You don't pay anything up front and you receive 70% of the sale price of your image. 10% from every image sold goes to the Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS).
DOWNLOADABLE IMAGES ROYALTY FREE As above, we aim to supply budget priced and ezi to access and download images. These images may be sold over and over, indefinitely...and of course they may not ever be sold with copyright. They will sell for $2.70 each and Ezi Pix reserves the right to change this price from time to time. You don't pay anything up front and you receive 70% of the sale price of your image. Ezi Pix will donate 10% to CAPS.
PRINTS DELIVERED TO THEIR DOOR This option will be a choice of 3 large print sizes and does not include framing at this stage (though we may consider it later). The prices will be the same for all photographers again making it ezi for our customers to make a decision and purchase your print. We will soon consider giving members the option of adding their own price as we understand that some images of excellence are able to be sold at a much higher price.(Some members who are professionals are already charging more through their own outlets). Once the customer pays Ezi Pix, everything is done for you. You don’t pay anything up front and you receive approximately 40% of the purchase price, without having to process, print or deliver. We will keep our prices reasonable to gain as many sales as possible and our commission low to help you MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE.
When you take photos for customers (even while you are practicing), you can choose to process their orders for prints yourself, or send the photos on CD to us for upload and they order securely online. Within days, you can advise the customer their photos are ready to view. They can opt to give the pin to anyone, no matter where in the world, and any of them can view and order the prints etc. to be delivered to their door. Photos are not able to be copied and are in low resolution for faster viewing, but the prints and other products will be just sensational, archival paper from professional processing labs in Australia. Customers who order will pay online and once a month your payment will be sent to you. This will be approx 40% of the sale price.

MATCH UP WITH EZI PIX CUSTOMERS Through our online marketing, SEO and off line marketing, any customer visiting Ezi Pix to find photographers for their events, parties, portrait needs etc. will be able to find you by Name (or business name) or region and style of photography. They will then see your short bio and determine which member matches their needs and view their online portfolio. Once they have chosen a photographer, they can start to make contact through the contact me link to discuss the details. From this point it is up to you to secure the booking and make arrangements, including how much to charge and also collecting money etc. Then, once you have taken their photos, your customer can view, choose and purchase any prints through you (very time consuming) or you can give them a secure pin and they can use our online ordering system. (see 'Sell your Customer Event Photos' above).
Each member may list their photos online for our customers to see. Anyone can see these images but it is also up to you to get your customers to go to the site to view them. It's a great way to show your photos as you gradually gain shots of people, weddings, landscapes etc. You can update the photos anytime from the Gold Members Area. By keeping your portfolio up to date, you have more chance of having your photos chosen for the home page public gallery as people want to see new images. Your images may also be found by customers running a category or keyword search.
We will be running interviews with top photographers from all over the country and they are free to listen in for the first two weeks. Gold Members have access to these interviews any time from our Resource Library. Not only that, but we will also interview business professionals with all the information you need to help you get your business started or keep PROFITABLE. Choose the interview that is right for you!
If you supply photographic equipment or tools to help photographers, you can advertise on our supplier’s page, free of charge. This page is available to all visitors to the site, increasing your chances of selling your product/service. Other suppliers would have to pay approximately $30-$50 per month to have their names listed here. We also have the option of sponsorships and affiliate sales through this supply section
You will be eligible to be entered in the monthly "Shutter Bug" (Nature/Landscape) and “Shutter Your Face” (People/Portrait) photographic competitions. This is open to all members and monthly 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be given in the form of certificates. Monthly first place getter will also be announced in the ‘Just Shoot Me’ monthly publication to everyone on our list. They will also be on the 'home page', the 'competition information' page (in the gold members area), and on our blog for all to see. These pages will include links to the other place getters which will all be displayed on the 'competition winner’s page'. This is fantastic for gaining leads as you will have mass exposure and links direct to your portfolio gallery.
This competition also helps our newsletter distribution to grow as customers register to see if their child's photo (taken by you) has won 'photo of the month.' The more newsletters sent, the more people are exposed to Ezipix and YOUR photos so tell as many people as you know to register. Remember, the competition is FREE and you can enter as many times as you like.
Members are able to contribute any articles or information suitable to the site to help other photographers in learning more about photography or business skills. All work will be credited to the member and copyright to the member with licencing rights to Ezi Pix for use in other publications from time to time. The contributing member will always have their work credited to them, and a link to their portfolio where possible. If your work is chosen to be part of one of our e-books, we will pay you commission for your contribution, depending on the number of contributors and costs.
Also, coming soon, you can be involved in the writing of an e-publication which will be written by the members on their photographic experiences. Not only will the E-book be sold on Ezi Pix website, but members can also sell the e-book from their own websites and receive even more commission on the sale of the e-books.
You can make a comment here on the blog, however; as a Gold Member you can also post an article or image (coming soon). This allows others to critique your work and you can critique others. We will have Bob's Challenge (a challenge to make changes to an image by software) uploaded here for all to see and each entry can be uploaded here as a comment. Then anyone can critique and vote on who they like the best. You will need to upload the high res image in the Members area.
The online Gallery (which is accessed at the bottom of the home page) will be updated with gold member's photos every time you upload an image. Your photos will be available for public viewing without customers having to enter your name, increasing your chances of gaining a booking or sale of an image or print. It’s a way for customers to find you by how appropriate or impressive your images are.
The Resource Library is our online goldmine of information about everything photographic and also includes a business section for those wanting to run their own photography business. This includes areas such as photographic, equipment, software/tools and each of these has sub-categories such as landscapes, portraits, weddings etc. The information is brought to you in formats such as audio, visual and pdf tutorials, interviews, articles and much more. This is where most of the learning stuff is stored for members. You can download templates of letters, advertising and marketing material including Flyers and Promotions.
That's right. This is your own business, whether it is in your own name, or you choose to register a business name. You need to see an accountant if you are intending to make money from your photography as they will be able to explain the tax implications (which can sometimes work in your favour when you are just starting out). Remember that Ezi Pix is only here to guide you, help give you the ideas to get you started and also as a tool for you to sell your photographs and have some fun with the competitions, blogs etc. Put your own spin on things and you will be off and running in no time. The more practice, the better you become and the higher the sales.
