The Resource Library is our online goldmine of information about everything photographic and also includes a business section for those wanting to run their own photography business. This includes areas such as photographic, equipment, software/tools and each of these has sub-categories such as landscapes, portraits, weddings etc. The information is brought to you in formats such as audio, visual and pdf tutorials, interviews, articles and much more. This is where most of the learning stuff is stored for members. You can download templates of letters, advertising and marketing material including Flyers and Promotions.
As a gold member you can post articles as well as make comments on other peoples articles. This allows others to critique your work and you can critique others. We will have a mastermind group from time to time and four photographers will be chosen for each one to be critiqued by the group. If you supply photographic equipment or tools to help photographers, you can advertise on our supplier’s page, free of charge. This page is available to all visitors to the site, increasing your chances of selling your product/service. Focus groups are ideal to get to know more about your own photography and help others in an intimate group within your own community. They are simply a get together of our members and others within their own community so if there is not one in your area, we will give you a template letter to get one started. Usually they are held in a café, shop or small restaurant and they are completely informal and not a registered group. You attend at your own risk, same as you would if you attended the café of your own accord. It’s just a meeting place to talk about your common interest, photography. I am amazed at what I have learnt through the network of photographers (and artists) at my focus group. Find one or start one near you now.
